Podcast #3: “Dreampast”

Hey Folks!

The Achievement Unlocked trio return to indulge your ears with a healthy dose of gaming news, reviews and rose tinted nostalgia.

In this episode we discuss our first impressions of Army of Two: 40th Day and Bayonetta for the Xbox 360, muse over the current trend of co-op taking precedence in games such as Resident Evil 5, derail into Sean Bean (as you do) and finally take a fond look back at our wonderful DreamCast playing days (at which point Darryl unexpectantly, albeit briefly, leaves for a lavatory visit).

What more reason do you need to listen?

Next week, we’ll be taking a glance back at the highlights of 2009 and looking forward (for once) to the gaming delights 2010 has in store.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Podcast #2: “Doin’ Santa”

Here we go, Podcast #2!

I’m doing the update again because a certain Mr Wheavil has disappeared off the face of the frakkin’ earth and therefore is unable to post it.

This week we talk about Halo 3, ODST, hand-held and cell phone gaming and a host of other crap in between. We hope you enjoy it. I’m only slightly offensive this week.

Some good news though. Achievement Unlocked has been approved for the iTunes Store! We are now officially online and mobile. You can find it here (opens iTunes).

Alternatively, stream or download it in mp3 format directly from this page:

Site launch and Podcast #1

Hello, and welcome to Achievement Unlocked!

Achievement Unlocked! is the new project by the creators of Press Start To Play (Adam Law and Darryl Walker) + Matthew “Bug” Wheavil. Currently there is only one podcast to listen to, and all feedback is appreciate. You can listen to it from the neat little streaming player below. As of the next ‘cast (hopefully this weekend) the recordings will also be on the iTunes store and the Zune Marketplace amongst other places.

Thanks, and we hope you enjoy!
